Hadass Moore (Ph.D., MSW) is a senior lecturer at the Paul Bearwood School of Social Work and Social Welfare. Her research centers on two main research areas: a) home, homelessness and populations experiencing homelessness and, b) the intersection between the social work discipline and the field of education. In both areas the prism that guides her research is focused on the role of larger and nested contextual factors and the unique implications for local and larger policies that deserve further conceptualization and applicable research.
Hadass is currently engaged in the following research projects:
1. Social Support and Social Networks of Adults Experiencing Homelessness: Gendered Dimensions
2. Designing Services and Policies Regarding Homelessness in Israel: Between Service Providers and Policy Makers
3. First generation in Academia: Evaluation Study
4. Housing First for Women Experiencing Homelessness who are Exiting Sex Work
In her research Hadass applies critical and context-informed perspectives and theories which allow for a nested, ecological understanding of different phenomenon. She is a member of the leading team of Nevet Greenhouse of Context-Informed Research and Training.
